MORE BAD WEATHER COMING
Updated by Henry Margusity

Weather Decision Solutions will be closely monitoring the potential for severe weather and flooding rainfall across the Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys this week, particularly Tuesday into Wednesday.
A strong cold front pushing into the region will interact with an incoming storm system from the West, setting the stage for widespread thunderstorms. Some of these storms could become severe, with damaging winds and locally intense rainfall.
Given the already wet conditions in many areas, any heavier downpours could quickly lead to flooding concerns. This is especially important as the pattern remains active, with additional storm systems expected to track through the region over the next couple of weeks.
As soils become increasingly saturated, the risk of flooding will continue to rise, even with storms that may not be particularly intense on their own.
Daily Storm Reports are free public forecast discussions from the WDS ops desk.
