MORE BAD WEATHER COMING

Weather Decision Solutions – Weather Discussion
Weather Decision Solutions is monitoring the final phase of an active storm system impacting the Southeast today.
This system, which has already produced heavy rainfall across the Gulf Coast over the past 24 hours, is now shifting eastward. As it does, it will bring:
Moderate rain into Georgia and South Carolina
Heavier thunderstorms into northern Florida
While some localized downpours and storms may still cause brief impacts, the system is expected to move quickly offshore, taking the bulk of the rain and thunderstorm activity with it by later today.
What’s Next
After a short-lived break in the active pattern, attention turns to the middle of next week, when another significant severe weather outbreak may develop.
The primary area of concern at this time is the Tennessee Valley, where conditions could again support:
Strong thunderstorms
Damaging winds
Possible severe weather impacts
Bottom Line
Final round of rain/storms today across the Southeast
Moderate rain GA/SC, stronger storms in northern FL
System exits quickly offshore
Brief lull follows
Next severe weather outbreak possible midweek next week
Overall, this is a transition period, with one system exiting and another potentially significant one already lining up behind it.
