Daily Storm Report for April 2, 2026
Updated by Henry Margusity
In the long range, the pattern will start to relax some as most of the snow issues will head up into parts of Canada after this weekend. While there's a cold air mass coming down into the eastern part of the U.S., that cold air mass will only last about a day or so before it starts to warm up again. Parts of western Canada and central Canada will see some snow as storminess continues to move through the plains up into eastern Canada. Cold air still will be coming down behind some of these storms, so while it warms up, it'll get cold again across the eastern part of the country. The western part of the country will be unsettled with mountain snows and rain moving on through, which they do need out there.
