A system that came out of a cluster of thunderstorms is quickly spinning-up this morning off North Carolina. That system has the chance to become a tropical depression or tropical storm later today. Once the system does form, the storm will head into the Atlantic and may graze Atlantic Canada later this week. The storm will not impact the coastal U.S. and will only be an issue for Mariners.
