Yesterday was a major day for severe weather across the Northeast and High Plains. Today will be another big day for severe weather from Illinois to Texas. I expect numerous reports of wind and hail plus about 10-20 tornado reports.

It appears that two areas of tornadoes may occur today. One in Oklahoma and the other near Illinois and northern Missouri along the warm front.

Snow is falling across parts of North Dakota this morning. We will see snow across parts of northern Minnesota into northern Wisconsin tonight into Friday.

A cold rain will occur from the Great Lakes into the Appalachians and New England Friday into Saturday with the same storm that is hitting the Plains and Mississippi Valley today.

Next week we are going into a warm and humid pattern across much of the East. Numerous showers and thunderstorms will occur in the humid airmass that is developing. We also need to watch the Gulf of Mexico for Development after the 6th of June.
